well, for anyone over here who does not yet know this, liverpool last night won the champions league final against AC Milan in quite impressive style!Being 3 nil down at half time, everyone had pretty much crowned Milan champions and yet liverpool came back to equalize in the second half and then went on to win on penalties! Go liverpool! I must say that I am somewhat disapointed at those chelsey and manchester united fans who are too bad losers and who will not celebrate with the champions. As far as I'm concerned, any english team who does well in europe should be supported by all! whoever it is you support.
Course now the question remains .. what will happen next year! The rules state that the top 4 clubs will qualify for next years champions league, and as liverpool are not in the top 4, they effectively cannot defend their title next year. But there is increasing pressure on the FA and Euefa to sort this out, and there's a lot of speculation that the sponsors will put a lot of pressure on Euefa to give an extra place to liverpool, and let's face it, sponsorship and money talks.
